OneRepublic - All The Right Moves

You'd get to know me based on the music listen to. I like this one because aside from the great music it is so symbolic.This is how i interpret it:

the dark masquerade ball represents rich,pretentious self absorbed people & social climbers who think they are better than the others & doesnt care abt who they step on just to get what they want..

they think they got all the right moves, friends in all the right places yet is completely blinded by their fantasies of grandeur and illusions that they dont really see way beyond that anymore...

the kid represents the people they could have totally helped but just ignore even if they have more in their pockets.

the band showed that they'd rather not belong and go down, but at least experience the true light & happiness.
they'd rather go DOWN, but that is the real WIN. because they know what is REAL and avoid all that LONELY pretensions & hypocrisy.

a truly great and noble song.
